Welcome to Woodridge and the 2009-10 school year. This year promises to be an exciting learning experience for your child.

We look forward to working together with you to ensure that each student is successful academically while enjoying school. Our district has provided a rigorous academic curriculum at each grade level, and our teachers utilize research proven instructional strategies to help each child reach the state standards for every grade level. We also value the whole child, and our Character Counts program helps students develop positive social skills that are as important to their success and happiness as is reading and math. We value the partnership between home and school and understand that children whose parents take an active role in their education are more successful in school. Please show your child that his or her education and school activities are important by taking the time to be involved at Woodridge this year.
