December, 2008: Mariya here! Just wanting to remind all 6th graders of our BLANKET DRIVE! Yep! That's right, we are collecting blankets and are going to interface with community service agencies to wrap and donate them to folks who need them most! Check back and see how many blankets we collected

Currently, we are completing our fascinating unit on floating and sinking. Can you think of ways to support your child with their learning of buoyancy, density, and water displacement? Feel free to drop by the class anytime and take part in your child's education!

Welcome to Room 201: That's right, we moved over one room and now we have more light, more space and we waste even less time trying to be as smart as possible!
Assignments and Projects
As of December, we have completed Lesson 39 in EXCEL and we have mastered how to multiply and divide fractions. We are trying to master this because it is one of our PE's in math. It is PE 6.1.D to be exact. A PE is a performance expectation and you should all know that!
