Dear Families and Friends of Linwood:

Welcome to Linwood Elementary School and the 2009-2010 school year! It is an honor and privilege to work with you as partners in your child’s education.

At Linwood Elementary, we have a highly qualified professional staff that is dedicated to each child and their successes. Our goal is to create a warm, safe, and nurturing environment which promotes responsibility, self-esteem, and high academic achievement. Our staff hopes that by providing such a climate, your child’s school experiences will be both happy and productive. Our purpose is to meet the needs of all our students by providing them with rigorous and engaging learning experiences.

A child’s school success is highly dependent upon the relationship between home and school. We invite you to visit school often and encourage you to volunteer whenever you can. With your involvement, feedback, and support, we can build a collaborative relationship that will ensure success for all of our students!
