We believe…. each child has his/her own learning pace and style and requires different instructional practices.
So we will ….challenge all children to learn to their full ability through the use of a variety of instructional strategies and assist all students in making academic progress toward meeting state standards that begins at their current level of ability.

We believe…. collaborative planning cultivates our use of best instructional practices.
So we will …. collaborate regularly with colleagues to focus on student learning and best instructional practices.

We believe…. using ongoing assessment data, teacher observation and evaluation helps determine planning and instruction.
So we will …. use current assessment data to plan lessons that meet instructional needs and guide our decisions regarding services for students.

We believe…. literacy is an asset that enriches life.
So we will …. model literacy through appropriate use of oral and written language as well as reading skills.

It is the mission of our Lincoln Heights School community to ensure that all our members have the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
