Dear Franklin Parents and Guardians,
The beginning of the school year is always an exciting time for teachers and students. We all have a little anxiety, great anticipation, and wonderful plans for new learning. Each year is a new beginning as we use our previous year's learning as the scaffold for the next. Franklin teachers have been busy planning lessons, reviewing the learning goals for their students, attending classes, and learning more about how ongoing assessment can help students experience success. WE ARE READY!
Please look carefully at the items your students bring home in their packet. There are important pieces of information. Read through the parent calendar about school rules, bus information, the dress code, and Character Counts! Know that our goal at Franklin is to provide a safe and engaging learning environment and we so appreciate your support of this goal.
Many of the wonderful memories you and your family have from Franklin School are a result of our Parent Teacher Group (PTG). Consider lending your support to this awesome group. The meetings are noted in your Franklin calendar and I encourage all parents to join and attend when they can.
