News and Activities
On May 21 and 22, 2009, Franklin celebrated a century of teaching and learning excellence in this building. The first Spokane Franklin School was built downtown in1889. There is lots of material here, much of it reflecting photographs and a long, unique history. Feel free to spend some time here with a glass of lemonade or a cup of tea (I'll buy) and thanks for visiting. Return often as updates are frequently made. As a connection to the Franklin learning community, old and new, please feel free to email or write to me. And by all means, if you have any Franklin artifacts or photos, we'd be delighted to see them!

WELCOME for the first time, or welcome back to a year at Franklin Elementary School. Perhaps I see your child; maybe you are visiting here to learn more about the historical Franklin School; perhaps you are an alumnus from yesteryear. Whatever the reason, I'm glad you are here.
For those folks involved in speech-language therapy, I am delighted to have the opportunity to work your children and you. Some students I have known from previous therapy and others are brand new to me this year. In either case, we will be addressing various aspects of articulation, language, fluency, and voice with the overarching goal of increasing classroom communication. This year, our theme will revolve around "The Language of Peace." Thanks for visiting!
