Most of your child's speech-language work is accomplished during therapy times and/or in the classroom. I use a variety of techniques in speech-language therapy. These include game therapy, articulation drill, desk work, mirror work, auditory/visual feedback techniques, oral-motor-facial exercises, and other activities depending upon the needs of the individual student. Social communication skills are a sub-layer of everything we do in therapy. At times, additional work is sent home, however this is done on a case by case basis.
