What is Collaboration Time?

The purpose of collaborative time is to provide a common time for all staff to focus on teaching and learning. For all the students to reach high academic standards, it is essential that teachers have regularly scheduled times during the work day to focus on issues of effective teaching and student learning. Following are examples of uses of collaborative time:/Schools/Elementary/Bemiss/Misc/test.htm

- Sharing best practices

- Discussing student work

- Learning new skills

- Analyzing assessment data

- Planning for action research

- Reviewing the research and applying to practice

- Developing standards-based lessons

Every Thursday morning the staff will be collaborating from 8:00 – 9:00 am , with school starting at 9:30am.
