Balboa Balboa

Balboa Parent-Teacher Group (PTG)

Balboa could not function without the involvement of the Parent-Teacher Group (PTG). This group of dedicated parents works to provide additional opportunities for parents and students. The PTG hosts various fund-raising events. The money raised has been used to improve the playground facilities, bring various guests including authors and artistic performers to Balboa, and provide additional materials for classrooms. Another function of the PTG is to disseminate important information to parents via newsletters, PTG meetings, parent information nights, and parenting classes.

The Balboa PTG invites parents and community members to attend their meetings.  Meetings are Oct 14th and May 19th at 7:00 p.m.  If you are interested in volunteering to chair an event or becoming involved in PTG, please contact a member of the PTG Board.
