PTG is involved in fundraising and other special activities. Generally PTG holds pizza nights, Bingo Night and our special Adams All Star Walk-A-Thon. In addition they help with our Cultural Night, and also our Literacy evening. The money earned from these activities provides for much-needed supplies and equipment for our school and students. In the fall the PTG holds an annual Gift Wrap/Candy Sale. During the year Movie Nights, and an Ice Cream Social are offered as well.

As a result of the PTG Walk-A-Thon, hours of volunteer help, and lots of pledges and support from the community, we have been able to fund computers and other supplies. Thank you all for your support! This year along with some help from a donation from Asuris who sponsored Senator Chris Marr in a contest between legislators promoting heart health, (Senator Marr won, and donated his winnings to Adams), and our PTG, we were able to purchase a brand new climbing wall.  Our All Stars are really enjoying it.

Each Walk-A-Thon offers participants a challenge...along with special prizes: T-shirts, music and lots of fun!!! That's what the Walk-A-Thon is all about, special moments. Contact Kim Merkel our PTG president for more information about our PTG. You may call the office and leave a message for Kim. Or you can check out our Parent Resources page for the latest meeting minutes and upcoming events. It takes a village to raise a child, and we appreciate all of your support!

                                                          Volunteers

We encourage you to be a part of our Volunteer program. Our volunteers are essential to the success of our school. If you are interested in volunteering weekly, monthly, or even just occasionally we would love for you to do so. Give our volunteer coordinator- Maria Maysonet a call, and she can help get you started. "Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little." Edmond Burke
